MILWAUKEE — Defend Your Vote protests took place all over the country Saturday, including one in Milwaukee that was originally shut down by the city’s health department.

With COVID-19 raging in Wisconsin, the health department implemented several new guidlines and stict fines if they are not followed. Now, Serb Hall will face “several $500 fines” for lack of masks, breaking the 100 person capacity limit for a political event and not having everyone seated.

UPDATE: @MKEhealth department says Serb Hall will receive several $500 violations for today’s event.
Violations include:

-max capacity for a political event is 100 people
-people weren’t wearing masks

Someone who appears to be a representative of Serb Hall attempted to get protestors to comply, however he was thrown to the ground.
